John W. Carlson

Dr. Carlson has served for over 40 years as a teacher and administrator at U.S. Catholic colleges and universities. He received a Ph.D. in philosophy from the University of Notre Dame and currently is Professor of Philosophy at Creighton University in Omaha, Neb. His most recent book is Words of Wisdom: A Philosophical Dictionary for the Perennial Tradition (University of Notre Dame Press, 2012).
