Bishop Thomas John Paprocki

Bishop Thomas John Paprocki was installed the ninth bishop of the Diocese of Springfield, Illinois by Pope Benedict in 2010. Among his many episcopal duties included Vice-Chancellor (1985-92), Chancellor (1992-2000), and Auxiliary Bishop of Chicago (2003-2010). In addition to graduate degrees in theology from St. Mary of the Lake Seminary, Mundelein, he earned a J.D. from DePaul University College of Law, a J.C.D. from the Pontifical Gregorian University, Rome, and an M.B.A from the University of Notre Dame.
